That light, regardless of its brightness, helps others lost in their darkness find safe & secure footing even if the results aren't immediately obvious. If we are faithful and persist in our struggles as we plant, water, weed and nuture, God is faithful and will provide the harvest! Hang in there, one day at a time, it is worth the struggle! Your words blessed me right back. Our battles are never solely our own, are they? Whether we intend to share them or not. There are the common struggles of mortality, yes. But there is more. There are times like these, when our battles speak to others. When others fight with us. When separate pains collide & make something beautiful, by the grace of God. You are not alone. & this fight is not futile. Human words fail to resonate when we aren't listening to Christ's voice first & foremost. When we dull ourselves to Him, how can we perceive Him in others? May we keep our minds stayed on the Author of our existence ... the Fighter of our fight. There comes a point where truth registers, but it does not invade."

So much of this described what I've been going through lately, but these two parts especially.

It's not only you, Lydia. Never only you. And never only me. I forget so often that I don't need to be alone.

Thank you for sharing your words. They touched my heart tonight. <3Amandanoreply@blogger.com
